COPENHAGEN BRASS
The brass band Copenhagen Brass was born in 1999 and has given several concerts in Denmark and abroad.
The band consists of 12 musicians who play brass and percussion instruments. The Copenhagen Brass consists of four trumpets, a flugelhorn, two horns, three trombones, a euphonium, a tuba and percussion. The members are musicians trained at Danish conservatories and qualified amateurs.
The repertoire spans a long period of time, consisting of music from the Renaissance, the Romantic period and also contemporary music. The band also plays jazz and entertainment music and is not shy about any musical genre.

ACTIVITIES
In recent years, Copenhagen Brass has been giving regular concerts in Copenhagen's churches. They also toured Spain, Scotland, Faroe Islands, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Copenhagen Brass' aim is to entertain in traditional contexts, but they are also interested in playing in more extraordinary environments, in order to give as varied an audience as possible the opportunity to experience brass music.

CONDUCTOR
Former Royal Danish Conservatory of Music professor Mogens Andresen is widely acclaimed in music circles. He is the most active Danish brass arranger and is also responsible for several new brass compositions.
In 1977, Mogens Andresen founded the Royal Danish Brass, made up of musicians from the Royal Danish Orchestra, which has since inspired and encouraged brass music culture in Denmark.
